Central Oregon’s premier destination ski resort is really only a gigantic backyard playground for Bend locals. Skiers who live here know that if you avoid holidays and ski some during the midweek it can feel like you own the place.

Offering 3,686 acres of skiing with 3,365 vertical feet and a propensity for large snow dumps makes this ski area great. The conditions however can be difficult to anticipate and the ski area snow report is unreliable at best. For those of us who really want to know what the skiing is like we ask someone who went yesterday.

That is the purpose of this report. We will post a conditions report after every trip to the mountain……so check in before you go and find out what to expect.
