Virginia Meissner Sno-Park

Virginia Meissner Sno-Park is located about 12 miles west of Bend on Century Highway (the road to Mt. Bachelor Ski Area). It is a good-sized snow park that offers classic and skate style Nordic skiing, snowshoeing, backcountry skiing, and exploration.

There are numerous ski trails available here and the Tumalo Langlauf Club grooms over 30 kilometers of skate and classic track three days a week from December 1 – March 31. There is no fee for the use of the trails, however, donations and/or a membership with the Tumalo Langlauf Club is encouraged.

The terrain is variable and offers something for everyone. There are relatively flat sections of trail starting at the parking area and more challenging terrain for those that want more of a workout. The trail system connects with the Swampy Lakes Sno-Park another two miles up the highway. This is a good alternative for parking if the Virginia Meissner Sno-Park is full.
